The history of squash began many centuries ago in France and later it was developed into tennis in the late fifteenth century. At this time people played many similar games just for entertainment. Squash is a racket sports activity.
If four players play together it is viewed as tennis double match and alternate racket sporting events activities. It is a well-accepted pursuit played out the world over, especially as it does not need to have a sizable area to have fun playing. The walls of the squash court have definitions and techniques. Squash is often a powerful recreation that calls for a high level of hand-eye balance. Racquetball is an active indoor or outdoor sport played using a hollow rubber ball. Mostly, this sport is viewed as similar to tennis and handball because nearly all of such games rules are incorporated into racquetball. Joseph Sobek, a US-based professional handball and tennis player is credited for inventing this game in 1950 and at that time racquetball was created as an option to the popular game of tennis.
The equipment used to play the squash mostly resembled tennis. Racquets and hollow balls are two main playing equipments that are needed to play squash. Unlike tennis, squash is played indoor with four walls. Both players would be standing on the same side and trying to hit the ball onto the wall opposite to them. It has its own set of rules. Equipments with good quality are a must to play the game. Mostly, a typical squash racquet is made of carbon and aluminum. The racquet’s main surface is interwoven with strings.
The normal weights of quality squash rackets are 120g and 200g. It is usually easier to control smaller racquets. The professional players will always prefer short and light racquets for better control because the tensile strength of the racquet string is a very important factor to consider for playing squash. The tensile strength depends on the material which is used to make the racquets. Seasoned squash players often prefer carbon racquets while amateur players choose aluminum ones.
Racquetball is a fast game, played with racquets and a hollow rubber ball and it needs two teams of one or two players each, who then hit the ball against one of the four walls or ceiling of an enclosed court with short racquets made of wood, steel or fiberglass, strung with nylon and features a wrist strap. The basic racquetball equipment to start playing racquetball includes a racquet. Most of the players use an aluminium-framed racquet but the professional players prefer titanium or graphite frames because of the power these racquets give. These are light racquets for ease to play on the court. When choosing racquets, one should be aware of the gauge of the strings in the racquet. Always choose high-quality racquets. Good strings enable one to play their shots more effectively. The power one can generate from the racquet decides how well you hit the ball. Tight strings generate more power.
